Geocache Description:

This mysterious mural has become a Sydney icon.

The artist behind this famed image, Oucha, is French-born painter Bruno Dutot.
Oucha first appeared as a wall mural on the corner of New South Head Road and Darling Point Road in 1991,
during his stint as an illegal immigrant.
Dutot updated the Edgecliff icon regularly, an estimated
300 plus times, until he was allegedly sent to a detention centre and then sent back to France.

Ever since, other artists have maintained Oucha. Dutot has now returned to his beloved Sydney,
and touches up Oucha when he feels the original line has been lost (and, as always, work only
happens at night).

Some say the image is haunted. A fellow I know swears that one dark night as he was walking home, the angel came to life and danced for him.

N.B. Don't be fooled by the 'false cache holder' (see photo in gallery).
