This cache is not located at the posted coordinates.

This is a two stage multi-cache.

Stage one is a virtual stage. The posted coordinates will take you to the boardwalk that leads you to several historical points. In order to figure out the coordinates for the final stage, you will need to make your way around the board walk and answer the questions below.

Stage two is the final location.

Please use the following formula to obtain coordinates for the second and final stage:

A. (The Laundress Quarters) When were the laundress quarters dismantled? Use the third digit in this number.

B. (Hospital) During what decade was Fort Sisseton leased as a hunting lodge? Use the first digit of this number.

C. (Doctor's Residence) In what year was the hunting of prairie chickens prohibited? Subtract one from the last digit of this year.

D. (Officers' Quarters) On what day were orders issued to "proceed without delay" to Sauk Centre, Minnesota? Use the second digit of this number.

E. (Guard House) On what day did Dick Wilson desert the army? Use the first digit of this number.

F. (Library) How many books did the library contain in 1875? Use the first digit of this number.

G. (Magazine) How many times could the Springfield and the Enfield be loaded and fired in five minutes? Use the first digit of this number.

H. (South Barracks) How long had it been since the soldiers had a bath and clean clothes?
