While driving past the site a few weeks ago we decided to call in for a break. Sadly the memorial was lacking in maintenance and was infested with weeds nearly 2 feet high in places. We decided that a day spent here on maintenance was really needed so with mower and other weapons of destruction in hand we spent the day weeding and trying to repair the irrigation system. A return trip with new sprinkler heads will be our next maintenance job here.
Fortunately the lawns came up a real treat as you can see in the photo. It's a great spot for a rest and fresh water is available from the bubbler nearby. The area is quite free of muggles and only one other family came in while we were doing the gardens.
The small cache shouldn't be too hard for the average cacher and is camoflaged, so look with eagle eyes and it will come to you. It contains a pencil and log sheet.
