North Peninsula State Park is located in Ormond by the Sea, Florida. Park hours are from 8am-sunset. Visitors may enjoy the beach, picnic in the beautiful shady hammock area, or wind their way through shady coastal forest of scrub oaks and hammock along Smith Creek on the Coastal Strand Trail. Enjoy the view of the Intracoastal Waterway saltmarsh while hiking, and see the beautiful restoration efforts of this important ecosystem. Take the Bulow Creek Paddling Trail by kayak or canoe and view wildlife such as scrub jays, gopher tortoises, fiddler crabs, yellow-crowned night herons and osprey. Dogs are welcome and must be on a handheld 6' leash. Restroom amenities are available!
