It's a shame that newer folks to geocaching never had the privilege of knowing Utah Jean or her parents, A and N Carlsen. When I first started caching, Jean was the ideal we all wanted to be. She was the one with the most caches in Utah (pre-Baad Daata). She is one of the friendliest cachers you could get to know and she was legendary for her pies. When I went to some of the first UTAG events, her pies were the hit of the meal. She is still active, but our paths have not crossed for a few years. I am happy to have shared some great moments in caching with her
