Geocache Description:

This cache is placed near one of my favorite winter activity venues, which is likely unfamiliar to most in the Rochester area.  Curling is a sport that requires both physical stamina and stategic thinking, and can be enjoyed by people of all ages.  The Rochester club has league play throughout the late fall to spring, and also hosts Bonspiels and Friendlies - competitions with other clubs.  If you are a fellow curler, please include your club in your log.

Should be a quick grab for most.  This is a small, camo covered plastic bottle with room for small trade items (such as club pins).  Cache contains log and small pencil.  Rochester Curling Club pin for the FTF.  Also trackable “Rocky the Penguin Curling Fan” is starting his adventure here.  Please be respectful of parking, club lot fills up quickly eves and weekends especially.  Park past the cache site along the road.

Please tuck the cache in so it is not readily visible to muggles and the next seeker. If you are interested in learning more about curling or trying out the sport, please click on 'related web page' above for Rochester Curling Club link. Because this is a private facility with a varied schedule, visits should be planned in advance. Congratulations to surlyzek for FTF.
