As you walk along this section of the waterfront trail you are entering the naturalized area adjacent to the Lynde Creek Marsh, one of the largest remaining coastal wetlands on the north shore of Lake Ontario. This Provincially Significatant wetland has been designated by the Province of Ontario as an Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI).
