5000 Smilies Traditional Cache
glazedglasses: We're sorry to see this one go because it was really a pretty nice little hide. It's a bummer to say that only 3 cachers actually found this hide. What everyone else found was a replacement container very near to the original coordinates of our hide thinking that this was one of the LPPT caches. Aw well....things like this happen and it's really not a biggie a'tall! [;)]

"Sights To See While Out Caching"
There are guidelines for caching at the geo-site, and there is also an unspoken "code of honor and ethics" amongst cachers. However, there is also a lot of personal preference involved in this awesome hobby/sport. Some people like to find regular size containers, some enjoy the challenge of finding micro/nano containers. Some people love going out and finding as many caches as they can in a short time, while others like to take their time and find only just a few on an outing. There are easy to find caches, creative and challenging hides, drive-ups, mountain climbing, hiking trails, and town caches. Caching is a lot of fun and gives opportunity to get some fresh air and exercise and see some of the beauty of creation. There's a sense of accomplishment for reaching different milestones, and often there is a fun and friendly competitiveness between cachers too. Meeting fellow cachers is always a hi-lite and adds to the fun, comradery, and memories. Geocaching geosense can also produce the skill of finding anything that is "lost" by being able to notice the smallest of details as well as the obvious when they are looking for something. Geocaching is a good, clean, and healthy sport that is awesome! Enjoy and appreciate our great outdoors!
