When Buffalos Fly Traditional Cache

This cache is located along the Greenleaf Hiking Trail, also known as the Ankle Express Hiking Trail. The trail is located at Greenleaf State Park and is approximately 18 miles in hiking distance. The trailhead is located inside the park near the Deer Run and Trailhead campgrouds. Click here to learn more. During the spring and fall months of the year the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation and the Oklahoma Military Department schedule special hunts for turkey and deer in the area crossed by the trail. Closings will be posted on the Ankle Express Facebook page so be sure to check before you go.

Cache was placed while hiking the trail and visiting some other caches in the area. Hope you have as much fun finding it as I did placing it.
