This cache is off Iron Mountain Road - US16A. The cache is located in the area of Norbeck Overlook. There is a Wilderness overlook and sign to the right of the cache. Mt Rushmore can be seen from there! Please keep in mind this road may be closed for parts of the winter.
This was the area that Papa H and I had our engagement pictures taken. That was 27 1/2 years ago! It's still such a pretty place with a great view. I refer to it as the "Tunnel of Love!" In order to hide the cache we had to go down beyond the Tunnel of Love. There were muggles there today when we hid it. This is a very popular road and area especially in the summer months. Please use stealth when finding this cache. There is a hint and spoiler pictures in order to find the cache. Please do not destroy the area looking for it. It may not be a place for kids to go down alone. Please have an adult with children when finding this cache. There maybe loose rocks. There is a slight jump down to the cache area from one big rock down to the ground. Happy Caching to You!
