Geocache Description:

We have all heard the saying "it's like looking for a needle in a haystack", but this is like looking for a piece of hay in a haystack!

Wythenshawe was built in 1930 and was originally part of Cheshire. The area was bought by Manchester City Council. It was built originally without shops or a town centre.

Wythenshawe Town Centre or ‘Civic’ as it is known was built in the late 1960’s with a Theatre, library, swimming pool and sports facility.

This cache is available at opening times only, and has been left with kind permission.
