Geocache Description:

Another in the RI bridge series.  Arkwright Bridge is in my home town.   Nothing special about this bridge.  I just happened upon it while out caching. 


The Arkwright Bridge is an historic bridge located in Cranston RI, just north of the town line with Coventry, in the historic Arkwright mill village.  The bridge was built in 1888 is the longest surviving 19th century truss bridge in Rhode Island and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
