Scouting in Linwood (Christchurch) Traditional Cache

This cache is a round container thats painted up in the groups colours of Red Green and black and is at a low level. when we placed it there it contained a couple badges from the group form other the years. and a pen to sign the log.

The Scout group this cache is outside is the Linwood Scout Group, this group was 1 of the first 3 groups to be founded after Scouting was founded in Kaiapoi in 1908. So it holds a great importance to Scouting in Christchurch, and New Zealand. Since then numbers have climbed in the movement and there are over 16,000 SCOUTS in New Zealand, and this number is growing every day.
