After searching the nearby maps for a suitable place for our next hide, we stumbled upon the "PV Loop Trail". Our eastern approach was from an empty lot off of the intersection of Paseo Del Sol and Via Coches
Along this section of the trail, there is a grove of small eucalyptus trees. This is a nice resting spot as the views to the north start to open up. This hiking trail shows up in a 1920 real estate map. It was intended to connect to the end of Punta Place. From the eastern parking coordinates, start down the empty lot and stay to the right. You will soon find the trail as it descends in to a small valley. This cache resides at the eastern end of the trail. Take the 1 mile hike to the other trailhead, find several other NTP caches and enjoy the views.
