Prees Circular 11 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Brianlad: Ending this circular series as not able to maintain as it should be. I hope everyone who has completed the route has enjoyed it and helped to keep some of the footpaths round Prees open. I will gather all the caches up on New Years Eve weekend. This will also allow new caches to be placed in the Prees area.
Thanks, Brianlad.

Geocache Description:

The Prees Circular is a 4 mile walk and takes in some of the local footpaths and country lanes in and around the Prees area.

Cache 11, Question I, How many letters in the county name?

There are some electric fences to negotiate getting to this one but are easier enough to climb over. A map would be useful but if you use your GPS/Phone and a bit of common sense you will be able to do the walk just by working your way through the caches in order. You do cross the A49 once so please be careful if you have children and dogs with you. There are some quite damp areas on the walk so wellington or walking boots during wetter periods are advisable. I have spent quite some time to do this series so would love to hear some of the stories that unfold whilst doing this series, some pictures would also be nice as well. There are 15 caches in series ranging from small magnetic caches to slightly larger bison’s, as well as a couple of tricky ones along the way! There is also a bonus cache so please take note of the questions that need answering at 11 of the 15 caches. When answering the questions keep a note of these and allocate the letter A through to K for each of the questions, for example there is a question at cache one, the answer is a number which will be letter A. Below is a list of the questions, the letter to allocate to the answer and which cache the questions are at. Cache 1, Question A. How many letters in the in the house name opposite? Cache 2, Question B. How many vertical pipes go into the ground on the hand rail? Cache 3, Question C, how many horizontal bars are on the gate? Cache 4, Question D, How many letters in the street name on the sign? Cache 6, Question E, How many foot holds are on the telegraph pole next to the cache? Cache 7, Question F, How many legs + 1? Cache 8, Question G, How many numbers are in the maximum fine? Cache 10, Question H, How many horizontal bars are on both gates near the cache, add them together. Cache 11, Question I, How many letters in the county name? Cache 13, Question J, How many horizontal bars on the metal fence? Cache 15, Question K, How many people are on the metal sign? The bonus can be found using the following format. Northerly Grids, N1 = G N2 = K N3 = G N4 = H – J – F = N5 = G N6 = B N7 = B + G Westerly Grids, W1 = K W2 = B W3 = I – E - K = W4 = D – A = W5 = A – C = W6 = B Finally, enjoy the series and I hope you have some fun along the way
