MOONDANCE-Crackerjackie's Jukebox Traditional Cache

MOONDANCE is the title track on the third solo album by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison. It was released on 28 February 1970 by Warner Bros and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1999. In 2003, it was ranked #65 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of "The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time".

There is so much imagery in this song- the piano sounds like leaves falling, the bassline moves like a slow-moving fog and the sax, like a black cat slinking around at night. This is a great tune for an old-fashioned autumn barn dance on a warm autumn night.
