Bulldog Territory Traditional Cache

The Kinloss School District #129 was organized in 1907 with a building erected in 1909, opening its doors in 1910. After 59 years and the education of hundreds of students, the high school closed in 1965 followed by the elementary school closing in 1979. In 1987 the building was razed. Notable Bulldog sports highlights from these years include a state title for the girls basketball team in 1957 and state track records.

In September 2013, the graduates from the last five graduating classes—’61, ’62, ’63, ’64, and ’65—gathered for a reunion and reconnected with high school friends. Those graduates contributed to this cache. Each signed the logbook and included the year of their graduation. The original cache contains a FTF geocoin, two trackables—one dedicated to the many veterans from this group of graduates and another dedicated to the rock and roll era of the 60s.
