Geocache Description:

The title of this cache is Spiderman, you will wish you were Spiderman or at least had his help.

This is Extreme Geocaching !!!

This is my disclaimer. If you have never done a D/T rating of 5/5 you might think twice about doing this cache. This will take lots of upper body strength and skill. You will also need proper TOTT to retrieve both the nano and the ammo can. The first coordinates bring you to a walk bridge on Steamboat Trace Trail. You will be looking for a green nano.. In this nano it will give you the coordinates to the final cache. The final cache is a locked ammo can under a bridge on this same trail. The combination to this lock is coded on the bottom of the ammo can.

Please take a picture of the signed log and take as many other pictures as you want and post them, this might just help your fellow catchers.

The two legs of this geocache are several miles apart. The Steamboat Trace Trail is an easy walk/bike trail. There a 3 other caches on this trail between the legs of this cache. There are also some neat carvings into the sandstone bluffs. Please take time to enjoy them.

For the people that do not wish to walk or bike the trail there are minimum maintenance roads that will take you pretty close to the cache. Please do not trespass on private property.

The Steamboat Trace is 21 miles of abandoned railroad corridor paralleling the Missouri River from approximately 6 miles south of Nebraska City to just south of Brownville, Nebraska. In 1995, the title was provided to the Nemaha NRD by the National Rails to Trails Conservancy. No permit is required ; however, voluntary donations may be made at collection boxes along the trail. Steamboat Trace Association memberships are also available. The trail corridor is open to hiking and bicycling year-round, except during firearm deer hunting seasons in mid-November and early January, when the trail is closed to all uses. Trail surface is crushed limestone screenings. Accessible for wheelchairs and strollers. Horses and other pack animals, snowmobiles, ATVs, and other motorized vehicles are prohibited.
