I had to come out and do some minor maintenance to Dog Gone, so why noy take the opportunity to hid some more caches. The Caledonia Nordic Ski Club trails at Otway just keep getting better with expansion and preparation for the 2015 Games.
Many people use these trails for cross country skiing in winter, and biking or hiking in summer, while some use the connecting trails for snowshoe trekking. Some people also use the area for cross country jogging purposes too.
The Otway facilities are a "Little Gem" within a few kilometers of Prince George, and attract a huge amount of recreational use. Geocaching is provided to help further enhance those opportunities.
Remember that a day pass or seasons pass is required for people to use the trails during the winter season.
