Geocache Description:

Welcome to Double Jeopardy

(Cache is not at the posted coordinates)

This can be a busy area with passers by, so please be stealthy and watch for muggles.

This is the second of three parts in Big Zed's Puzzle Extravaganza. Each cache in this series will take you to a walking path in the Comox area. In order to find this cache you must get the key, solve the scrambled word puzzle and decipher the coordinates.

First get the key. Give the correct response to this clue, and it must be in the form of a question... oh just fill in the blanks.

CLUE: It’s what you call someone who sings folk songs.
RESPONSE: What is a F _ L _ _ I _ _ _ R ?

The correct response is the key which is a ten-letter isogram—a word or phrase that does not contain any duplicate letters. This isogram is two words with three syllables in total, and it begins with an F and ends with an R. F equals 1, the next letter equals 2, and so and until the last letter R which equals 0.

Now unscramble each word in the puzzle below and write it horizontally to fill in squares on the same line, left to right, in the grid to the right. One letter for each line is given to show the answer's position.

After you’ve unscrambled all ten words, the column of grey squares will form a word. Read from top to bottom and write the letters as ABCDE and FGHIJ. Use the key to find each letter’s corresponding numeric value. The coordinates N 49° AB.CDE W 124° FG.HIJ will take you to Double Jeopardy.

This container contains a log book and nothing else, so bring your own writing stick. After you find the cache, don't forget to record the five-letter code—it is written on the log book. This code will be used to find the final cache in the series. Please rehide as best you can. Good luck, players.

UPDATE  (2018 March 24th)
Jeopardy, the first cache in this puzzle series, has been removed; its final hiding spot was not good. Final Jeopardy, the final cache in this puzzle series, has also been removed; its container is missing, its hiding place is no longer usable, and I did not find a suitable alternative for ground zero. Double Jeopardy (this cache) is still available.
