This cache site is one of the many places you can start to climb Mt Herbert, the highest point on Banks peninsula (920m). However because it starts at a high saddle it feels like you are already half way there. From this point you can walk to Mt Herbert in around 1 1/2 hours. Other popular routes include from Diamond Harbour, Orton Bradley park or from Gebbies Pass.
The most obvious feature seen from the cache site is the dramatic volcanic rock stump known as The Monument (711m).
You are looking for a 200ml sistema container. It contains a logbook but you will need to bring your own pen.
