Geocache Description:

The cache is on conservation land named for Horace Clark. He once spearheaded the farming operation at the Danvers State Hospital. The trailhead (on Dayton St.) is marked by a sign with pulloff parking.

The trail is almost straight across the field from the parking area. The trail is barely more than a deer path, and for 20-30 yards is badly overgrown. I do not recommend trying to find this one in full Summer without a machete, and it isn't much easier in the Winter. I believe the terrain has changed since it was hidden by fayezee in 2013, so I have increased the difficulty rating. However, once you clear the worst stretch, the trail opens up and there is some good exploring to do along the Ipswich River beyond and to the North of GZ. There is a good option of arriving via canoe or kayak along the river. And bonus points if anyone can find an optional (legal) land route. The area is open to passive recreation and no hunting. Gunshots in background are from the Danvers Fish and Game Club over in Middleton.

You are looking for a 5" hanger.
