Geocache Description:

The Porters Creek site, at the end of Wicks Road in North Ryde, was developed by the local council as a sanitary waste depot, which opened in October 1969.

Porters Creek is named after Richard Porter, a Pymble orchardist who grew up on his parent's farm at Kissing Point.

The cache is located in a patch of bushland opposite the tip (waste depot) and could involve some climbing, so take your time and make sure you are fully prepared (going down may be harder than going up). Safety always!

Other information: Please replace the cache exactly as it was found to prevent it from being muggled/vandalised. BYO pen.
