O Museu do Vinho localiza-se na freguesia e Concelho da Madalena na Ilha do Pico, nos Açores. Integra a Rede Regional de Museus como extensão do Museu do Pico e foi criado em1999.
Encontra-se instalado nas dependências do antigo Convento da Ordem do Carmo, que remonta aos séculos XVII/XVIII, e que se constitui num símbolo arquitetónico da fase áurea do 'Ciclo do Vinho Verdelho' na ilha.
Compreende a casa conventual dos frades carmelitas, o armazém dos lagares e alambiques, uma vinha, um edifício construído de raiz que alberga um lagar de três bicas, um miradouro e uma mata de seculares dragoeiros ('Dracaena draco'), cuja idade está estimada entre 500 e 1000 anos.
Inaugurado em 1999, o espólio do museu é essencialmente constituído por peças etnográficas, objetos ligados aos ciclos - vegetal, industrial e de socialização - da vitivinicultura.

The Wine Museum is located in the parish and County of Madalena on Pico Island, Azores Archipelago. It integrates the Regional Network of Museums as an extension of Pico Museum and was created in1999.
It's installed in the premises of the former convent of the Carmelite Order, which dates back to the seventeenth / eighteenth centuries, and it is a symbol of architectural heyday of the 'Cycle of Verdelho Wine' on the island.
It integrates the house convent of Carmelite friars, warehouse mills and stills, a vineyard, one building built from scratch which houses a mill with three waterspouts, a belvedere and a forest of secular dragoeiros ('Dracaena draco'), whose age is estimated between 500 and 1000 years.
Opened in 1999, the estate of the museum consist essentially of ethnographic pieces, objects linked to the social, vegetal and the industrial cycles of the wine industry.
