Stanley's Three Foot Adventure Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Saturnmansc1: This cache is starting to become more of a headache to replace than it is worth. I am unfortunately going to have to archive this cache. Thanks to all those who found it and to those who left it a favorite point. [:)] No worries, Stanley isn't going away forever. I'm going to try to get Stanley back out again in the future.

Thanks and Happy Caching!

Geocache Description:

Log only, so as always, bring your own weapon of choice of writer's and authors. When you find it, make sure you're able to find the paper log. If the log gets close to being full, let me know. I believe it could be wheelchair accessible, but may be a reach.

My friend, Stanley, normally resides in Portland, Oregon where I have lived for the past few years. He and I have also been buddies for a couple of years now and he is... well... different than most. He's one of my favorites, but he is also... well... short. About three feet to be exact. When we met, he claimed to be a Knight, but when I couldn't find him for a while, he popped back up and said his name is Stanley. It has been a rather "unique" friendship, but others seem to really like him. So, that's what is important to me.

His adventure started when I found him stowed away in my belongings after I had moved back into the area. Once I was able to compose myself, I asked him why he came along? Because he was going to miss me! Flattered as I was, I asked him about his home in Portland? He told me was able to clone himself and that all my friends back north would still be able to see him there too. He then proceeded to tell me about his adventures stowed away in my stuff and how he cannot wait to hear the adventures of his new friends he will meet.

Ok, so it sounds like the start of a bad joke, but I'm pretty sure you'll get a good laugh when you see Stanley. Please make sure to tell me your story with Stanley too!

Signing on anything but the paper log will result in deletion of the log. Sorry to be party pooper on that, but I learned an important lesson on one like this.
