Erected for Francis Henry Woodriff around 1890, the house, grounds and drive demonstrate a class of wealthy families in the area.
The property is unique in the Penrith area for its historic associations with Captain Daniel Woodriff, a significant naval officer.
The architectural design and garden setting is an excellent example of a Queen Anne style house.
