The windmill is a Grade 2 Listed, six storey tower mill (17.98m high to the curb). The Ogee cap has a gallery and is winded by a fan tail. It drives three pairs of overdrift millstones.
The sails were removed in 2011 following an accident and the mill, having recently changed hands, is awaiting full restoration.
