There is Kintaro's battle-ax in the shrine.
Kintoki Sakata who served the samurai in the late Heian period who became Kintaro's model, and Minamotonoyorimitu, and was counted by one person of the big four in the shrine located on sweet potato mountains foot is deified as an enshrined deity.
"A Kintoki festival" is performed on Children's Day every year, and the “Yuritu lion dance" specified as country selection immaterial folk culture goods is announced. The side of the precincts of a temple -- Kintoki -- there is a mountain trail to a mountain and it can stand on the summit of the mountain up to the summit of the mountain in about 3 km, and about 1 hour and about 20 minutes. On the way, there is Kintaro's “Yadori ishi (Stay stone)” in the shrine inner shrine, and small shrine which dedicated battle-ax that Kintaro used and near the summit of the Mt.Kintoki.
Although ascent is tight, the unparalleled view which can command a whole view of Mt. Fuji, the Hakone range of mountains, and Lake Ashino, etc. from the summit of the mountain spreads.
Cache was setup near Kintoki shrine.

公時神社（金時神社）
ここの神社には金太郎のマサカリがあります。
金時山山麓に立つ神社で、金太郎のモデルになった平安時代後期の武士、源頼光に仕え四天王の1人に数えられた坂田公時が祭神として祀られています。毎年子供の日には「公時祭まつり」が行われ、国選択無形民俗文化財に指定されている“湯立獅子舞”が披露されます。
境内の脇に金時山への登山道があり、山頂までは約3km、約1時間20分程で山頂に立つ事が出来ます。途中には公時神社奥の院や、金太郎が使ったというマサカリを奉納した祠、山頂付近には金太郎の「宿石」があります。登りはきついですが、山頂から富士山、箱根連山、芦ノ湖などを一望できる絶景が広がります。
公時神社近くにCacheを設置しました。
