Geocache Description:

In the lands of the North Pole Father Christmas was preparing his sleigh for the busiest night of the year. He checked the sleigh, cleaned the leather harnesses, polished the gold rings and brushed the cobwebs off his seat. On pulling back the cover from his seat he found some eggs. Those pesky French hens had been at it again! He marched back to the house for a bath passing Mrs Christmas just as she was plucking the partridge from the pear tree for dinner later. After the long day preparing his sleigh Father Christmas was looking forward to a nice long soak in the bath. He opened the bathroom door and HISS HONK HISS. He was scared out of his mind as he jumped backwards and slammed the door. He looked out of the window to see the pond had frozen over. "Aha! The swans are swimming in the bath because the pond is frozen over, I'll just have to wait.". He went downstairs and picked up the phone to ring his lady friends. Yes he was calling his birds! Mrs Christmas caught him and disconnected the phone. Nevermind thought Father Christmas, my backup of the milking maids will do me good and stomped out of the house. On his way to the parlour he passed a phone box. Mrs Christmas will never know I'm calling my birds from here!

The parlour lay to the west of the house with no landmarks, nothing, nothing at all, except for a small juniper bush which happened to house some turtle doves in it. He arrived at the parlour to be greated by Mrs Christmas who said "I know you were calling your birds but I don't mind, it saved me the trouble. Since it's your birthday I called all the fellas as well. So, come on in, put the French hen eggs down, join the gentlemens row and get the ladies dancing.". (For all of you with the questionable ideas as to where this was going, nothing naughty happened!). Before he knew it Father Christmas' birthday party was over so he called to see the milking maids to get some milk for his breakfast the next morning as it was going to be a very long day.
