Copper Creek Camo Cache Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Marko Ramius: I regret to inform you that the Center for Natural Lands Management, the land owner of the Rancho La Costa Habitat Conservation Area, has asked us to archive all of the caches in this area. We have requested more dialog on this topic in the hopes that we might establish reasonable guidelines for the future of caching here, but for now we much archive all the caches. Please revisit your cache and remove your cache container and any traces of the cache.

Thank you for your understanding.

Geocache Description:

Easy hike from either La Costa trail system via Copper Creek Trail or park at the entrance to the old land fill in San Elijo Hills.

Be sure to check out the old copper mine and the waterfall in Copper Creek.

Stay stealthy and quiet on an early morning or dusk hikes as wildlife may be seen including deer, coyote, rabbits, and even bobcat have been spotted. Look closely in the creek. You'll spot crayfish.

Popular mountain biking area so stay aware.

Cache is a small, plastic container covered in camo tape. Please make sure top is put back on securely to keep moisture out.

Please stay on designated trails.

Pack more out than in and as always be considerate and HAVE FUN.

I replaced the cache on 2-2-15. Sorry Soulmates. Please rehide well so the Muggles don't see it again
