These three Cavalier King Charles Spaniels love hiking and geocaching.  To find their hiking trail and cache, park at the Pine Trailhead (N 34° 22.419 W 111° 26.776). Then follow either the Highline Trail or the Pine Canyon Trail to the Pine View Trail.  Cache is about 330 feet off the Lower Pine View Trail., but only 20 feet off the new (May 2018) Upper Pine View Trail.
For more info on the Pine View Trail click here. Then scroll down. And also click here. The loop hike is approximitly 3.5 miles.

Cavalier was the name used by Parliamentarians for a supporter of King Charles I and his son Charles II during the English Civil War, the Interregnum, and the Restoration.
For centuries, the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (a namesake of King Charles II) has been recorded in paintings and tapestries together with their aristocratic families. It is obvious from these works of art that Cavaliers were a luxury item and lived "the easy life" as housepets. Though used successfully for shooting small game, the Cavalier's true purpose has always been that of companion.
