Geocache Description:

The cache is a painted mint tin with a log only

Please replace it back were you found it so it cannot be Muggled.

Do not park on the road

There is pleanty of parking in the park and a short walk won't hurt you

Cowwarr Weir is located on Rainbow Creek, which is a breakaway section of the Thomson River near the Cowwarr township in Gippsland.

There is now no camping at the weir.
All of our recreational facilities including Cowwarr Weir have a carry in – out policy, meaning any litter you bring to the recreational reserve must be taken home with you.

Firearms and horses are not permitted. Dogs must be on leads at all times. No fires are permitted at all times.

Please check current Blue Green Algae warnings before planning a visit.

It is important to note that the facilities can be closed in short notice if we experience emergencies such as fires, floods or works on site. Please ring us on 5139 3100 and check to ensure the camping area is open first as part of your planning.
