One of many beautiful places in Berkshire County that I have discovered while growing up in this area that I wanted to share with everyone. UPDATED FOR SUMMER 2016 SCHERMERHORN RD. HAS BEEN REPAVE. YOU CAN NOW DRIVE UP IN A CAR TO THE SUMMER PARKING CORDS.
Welcome to Felton Lake. One of many beautiful places here in October Mountain State Forest, Massachusetts' largest state forest. Back in the 1950s and 1960s there was a Boy Scout camp up here. I think that vandals may have burned it down in the late 1960s or early 1970s. Thanks to Fred's fault for providing some old pictures of Camp Eagle back in the day.
