Willow Park Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Bunjil: I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

             - Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
             - No response from the cache owner.
             - No cache to find or log to sign.
             - It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
             - Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Geocache Description:

A regular sized camoflaged cache hidden at Willow Park approximately 1 kilometre north of Rosedale.

This cache was originally placed in this location in May 2010 as a GCA hide, before being archived 2 years later due to confusion after another cache was placed very nearby. That nearby cache now archived, its time to return the original to its special place.

Willow Park, situated along the Latrobe River, is a pleasant spot to take a break from the busy highway and stretch the legs a little. A footpath meandering along the river flats and under the highway bridge allows the pedestrian access to the main part of town. Willow Park is suitable for camping. Dogs are allowed. Facilities include toilets, fireplace, BBQ, and water. The free campsite is limited to a 36 hour stay, therefore being an ideal cheap overnight stop between East Gippsland and Melbourne (if you can block out the traffic noise).

A small prize and FTF certificate awaits the first to find. Please be careful when retreiving the cache, and rehide so as not to be accidently discovered by muggles. Good Luck.

Enjoy your break and happy caching.
