Connoisarauley Traditional Cache

A park and grab with a little history of the area.

PLEASE approach this cache from the Southwest direction. There is a large pull over to use going in that direction. Due to how busy the road is and the hill, it is safer not to cross the traffic flow. In other words, if you approach Connoisarauley from Rt. 219- find a safe way to turn around and come back to the cache.

The History:

Back in the 1960's when I was a kid, the average family didn't have a swimming pool nor were there town pools. Many people in this area would cool off by using the Connoisarauly Creek. We drove down N. Connoisarauley Rd. to Boehn Rd. to a nice dirt packed parking lot and enjoyed the creek and Connoisarauly Falls. The area is inaccessible now, as a bridge is out, road closed and land owners no longer allow access.
