In September, 2013 after nearly 80 years at this location, Riverton's Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post #3628 closed it's doors and started the process of selling their building. As a veteran of the U.S. military and of foreign wars, it saddens me to see this post come to an end. I was once one of the Vice Commanders of this post many years ago and understand why events turned out the way that they did.
Located in this area is a cache that I placed to honor the existance of the VFW and to honor those veterans who have served in a foreign war. Please place cache back as found to prevent it from being taken.
