守谷の駅前にひっそりと明治神宮はただずんでいます。 大正5年（1916年）に地元の明治天皇を敬慕する有志が明治神宮遙拝所として建立されました。 老朽化のため昭和52年(1977年)に建てなおされました。 同じ敷地内にこの地区の集会所がもあります。
Meiji shrine is located close to Morya station. In 1916, Meji-shirine was built by those people who admire Meiji emperor. It was rebuilt as the original building became old.
キャッシュは明治神宮と通りをはさんだ場所にあります。神社の中にはありませんので、神域内は探さないでください。
Cache is located at the place across the road from the shrine. It is not in the holy region of the shrine, please do not seek for the cache there.

November 13 is the "Day of Ibaraki Prefecture". This day is the day to know the history of Ibaraki, and to wishe for further development of the prefecture. On the 14th July, 1871, 3 major and 302 normal prefectures were placed across Japan by abolition of feudal clan and establishment of prefectures On 13 November, 1871, they were merged into 3 major and 72 normal prefectures. On that day, Niihari, Imba and Ibaraki prefectures were setteled around these district. On 1968, 100th aniversary of Meiji revolution, July 13th was decided to be the "Day of Ibaraki Prefecture", as the name "Ibraki prefecture" was first used on the day. There are discounts of entrance fees at many local govermental facilities.
