A cache for the raddest ducks in Oregon! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

MasterAndMargarita: Thanks to everyone for coming out to this tribute to our friends. Since I'm too far away to maintain regularly and ended up unable to stop by Eugene as planned last weekend, I've decided to archive this geocache.

Geocache Description:

This cache is dedicated to our friends the Rad-Ducks, who have been our partners in crime at numerous caches now. We started geocaching around the same time, and saw each others names on logs for months before finally running into each other. Only to realize we'd met Mr. Rad-Duck the day before, without knowing who he was! We've since had a lot of fun together, especially on the geotours, and we hope to do lots more caches with them in the future.

This cache has a duck-y theme, being located by a duck pond where you may also see some turtles or one of the resident otters (yup, there really are otters living in the middle of Eugene, we've seen them a couple of times now!).

The container is somewhat experimental, at least the exterior, but it is also bird themed! Hopefully it will lead a long and happy life in this quiet but beautiful park. This cache is probably best retrieved during the day, but I don't think anything would prevent you from getting it at night either.

Oh, and Rad-Ducks: Congrats on hitting 1500 caches in the next week or so!!
