Parking coordinates are listed....do not attempt this from the road!
The guards at the gate are aware of geocachers coming into the area. You can either tell them you're geocaching (if you have a CCGT Passport with you, you only need to show that to them), or tell them that you're headed for the Lakeview Lodge or Ski Lodge.
Stay on the Nature Trail until your GPS'r says otherwise...the cache itself is not far from the trail. The park closes at dusk...no night caching!
The cache is on public-use land, along the Little Flipper Nature Trail. Take some time to look around and read the information signs along the way. As we were hiding this cache, we observed a Bald Eagle circling above the lake. We also passed a 6-point buck along the way.
Just be respectful of the area you're in, pay attention to your surroundings, and enjoy your walk!!
