In the early spring, fall and winter park along Galloway Road because the gate is locked, there is an entrance to get in by foot. In the summer there is a parking lot you can park in for free. The path getting to the cache is fairly smooth. Although getting to the cache is simple, getting back is very hard. I recommend good foot wear to be runners or hiking boots. During the week watch for large and small vehicles working on the lake shore pathway.
The cache is about 5 metres from the path way point. If you know where Polaris is you will go the right way. Locating this cache may take some time. It's camouflaged, and you'll likely need tweezers to pull the log. There are no pens or pencil's with the cache. Everyone can reach this cache, so it's family friendly.
