This is the last of my five series of walks on the North Downs that all interlink at some point – from west to east they are the Hognore Hike, Downland Diversion, Trottiscliffe Trail, Birling Loop and Snodland Circuit.

1st Location: N51° 19.548 E0° 21.787
At the published co-ordinates you will find a black waymarker showing ‘Walk B’ plus seven words:
ABCDE FG
From this point, go through the gate and follow the Walk B waymarkers up a path that makes a diagonal ascent of the escarpment. Keep the new fencing on your immediate left until you reach the kissing gate. Then continue a little further along the path until you reach the second location.
2nd Location: N51° 19.598 E0° 21.509
At this location, you will come to one of the finest viewpoints within the country park. Find the wooden post with the letters ‘EL’.
The number on this post = H
