Who knew way back on the 9-9-9 when I held my first event at the broken hill in Vic Park it would become a yearly thing. With a good turnout in 09 of about 33 teams it was heralded a great success, I had a lot of the 100 coins left over at the end of the event a bit of a blow to the hip pocket, but over time they have been given away and traded.

For the 10-10-10 event I went as big as I could think at the time, with a hall in Gosnells booked and then a venue change due to the amount of will attends, a cool quiz with keypads and fastest finger first sale of the century style, a kids corner with tons of activities, coin collections on display a sausage sizzle and heaps of other things happening. The biggest WA had seen at the time said the veteran cachers.
Of course the organisation was hectic to say the least and I did it all with the help of four muggle friends, after I promised Mrs Jokers to not take on so much the following year, all the 100 event coins sold, in fact we could have done with some more.

Luckily the next year 11-11-11 fell on a weekday, time to dial it back a bit so I split it into two events, to cover those who had to work and those who could get out in the evening, or both for those chasing 2 event finds in a day. The Elizabethan Village with its quaint pub and hearty meals was the selected location.. Again the event coin proved more than popular, are you noticing a theme building.

12-12-12 again fell midweek and again the event was split in two, this time the afternoon was held at Heathcote with plenty of games and prizes, then for the eventing event we went back to our roots and headed to the Broken Hill pub in Vic Park again, a fond farewell was bid to the repeating date events and their Multi-Event coins.
