Geocache Description:

THERE IS PLENTY OF ROOM IF ANY LATE-COMERS WISH TO JOIN US!!! ...............Join us for our Xmas Dinner Event at the Toby Carvery (opposite Eden Park station) at 6.45pm for 7pm on Tuesday 3rd December 2013.

THERE IS A BAR AVAILABLE TO THOSE NOT JOINING US TO EAT.... WE CAN LINK UP AFTER THE MEAL...

The cost will be £10.99 per person. The amount includes a NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of £5.00. This must be paid IN CASH or sent by post (contact The Creepy Crawlies). In case of cancellation, the deposit will have to be forfeited but the balance will be refundable. There was a glitch the year before last for some unknown reason and so now I take the money in advance to make the evening simpler and more enjoyable for all.

If you wish to upgrade to the more expensive menu - you may do so on the night and pay the difference. The same applies to your drinks: settle your drinks bill with the waitress or bar staff yourselves.

The Toby Carvery (wheelchair accessible) is situated right opposite Eden Park station (on the Hayes line from London Bridge) and is about 25 minutes from London Bridge. Buses stop outside and there is a fairly large car park and street parking. The area allocated to us is up a couple of steps but someone with a disabilty could be seated adjacent (down the stairs) if not able to make it up the two steps.

As with last year, there will be a Secret Santa where you need to buy a present for £8.00 and wrap it but not say who it's from. It should be a geocaching item. This is not compulsory at all and is a bit of fun for those who wish to take part.

The tb race this year will be a simple race to see who gets the most mileage by the day before the Xmas dinner next year!

Get something Christmassy and attach to a tb to enter the race. The tbs will all be set off from the Xmas dinner.
