GARMONY POINT
Coastal viewpoint and great place for a picnic
Garmony Point is a low-lying coastal peninsula south of Fishnish, and offers a fine view across the Sound of Mull to Morvern, and the inviting hills beyond.
There is a signed parking area just off the main road, and from it a waymarked path leads over a couple of footbridges, eventually running on to Fishnish, from where ferries run across the sound to Lochaline.
This cache is intended to encourage visitors to this lovely coastal area that is often overlooked; picnic tables are ideally placed for a family meal in summer months.
