Jamul Mt. High Pt Traditional Cache

This cache is located at the highest point in the Jamul Mountains east of Mt Miguel. I parked at a spot N 32 41.314 W 116 54.557  on Procter Valley Rd west of the high point at clearing off the gravel road. From there I hiked south down to the Eucalytus tree grove and picked up the 4WD road that goes east up a canyon and then onto the west ridge of the high point. The old 4WD road on the west ridge goes up and over waypoint N 32 40.768 W 116 53.662 which is the point elevation 1694ft on the topo map. The hike for me from my parking spot was 2.3 miles to the high point and took me just over and hour to hike to with an elevation gain of about 1300 ft. About a mile into the hike you will run across what believe is an old Honda 90 or 50 motorcycle frame all shot up of course from all the target shooters through the many many years.
