Spring, summer, fall or winter, the Dog Mountain / First Lake Trail is a pleasure to hike / snowshoe. Many times we have been on this beautiful and accessible trail and always wondered why there weren't more caches here, so today we decided to change that. At times this can be a busy trail, even in the winter. The reward; (other than the cache) is the awesome lookout of the city from Dog Mountain.
