KYKachers presents "A Happy Caching Christmas Potluck". Sign up to bring a dish or volunteer for a service and join us for some holiday cheer! During the event, the prize for the latest KYKachers Challenge : "Most Creative Cache 2013" will be handed out, along with coordinates to all the caches in the running. To learn more about the KYKachers Challenge visit the KYKachers facebook page for ongoing updates. The plan is to have all the creative caches publisehd prior to this event by deadline of November 22nd. If you plan to enter the contest please post the title of your cache on the Facebook page so we know which ones are in the running. Once the caches are published, everyone will have an opportunity to visit them before the day of the event. Geocaches in the running will be posted here prior to event so please check back. Voting will take place at the event for those who were able to visit all the caches in the running. We request that all caches placed be in a 50 mile radius of our region so that it is possible for all attending to have a chance to visit them within two week time period.
Enjoy good food, games, and friends! This year... lets also have a geocache themed gift exchange. Please bring a wrapped, GC related gift valued 10-15 dollars. Entry into the exchange will be a wrapped gift per person interested in playing. To ensure that everyone who plays walks away with something, please have each person participating bring a gift instead of just one gift per family. We don't want anyone walking away empty handed.
