This great country Church, built in 1915, has stone walls for the main level. It appears to be in excellent condition, well maintained and still in use. It stands as a land mark to be seen for miles depending on the direction of your approach. I was a little surprized to find the doors unlocked but it was getting dark at the time so really didn't see much inside. Also here, you will find the Cantal Cemetery and the site of the former Cantal School. Cantal School, District # 1939, was in use form 1908 until 1970. The 26 by 36 foot building with a 12 foot ceiling cost $1500! Enjoy the area.
