Geocache Description:

Depending on exactly how you approach it, you are probably about to get your first view of the Woolshed Creek hut on the Mt Somers walkway

As far as overnight tramping goes, it doesn't get any easier than this, The track is pretty good, there is only one real hill and there is great history and scenery. There is a flash hut, great camp sites if you prefer that and it is only a couple of hours from the car park Do be aware of the weather though, it can be a touch exposed in a southerly and often gets quite deep snow in winter/spring. It should be perfectly fine in Nor west conditions, There are other caches about the area, and more if you decide to do the whole circuit. All you need to know is here. (visit link)
