July 2016 update/edit from this point on ...
This is no longer part of a four cache series and bonus, the last two caches have been archived and the bonus removed, so no need to take notes and answer the clues in the logs of #1 and #2 which are all that remain.
This caches is best done when there is plenty of daylight left - after all you are venturing quite deep into some woods in the countryside and depending on the route taken, potentially through plenty of undergrowth to reach this cache.
Walking along the western edge of the woods and trying to go directly East towards the cache is not recommended once bracken, brambles and nettles start to shoot up in the spring and continue to thrive over the summer months.
What used to be reasonably well defined clearways through the inner sections of these woods have become substantially overgrown, some thistles growing taller than I can reach, which is about 7'10" / 2.4m, coupled with extensive coverage across the former clearways of huge outbreaks of bracken and bramble growth.
It seems over the last 18months to 2years, the regular care previously evident in the woods is no longer being maintained, fallen trees have not been moved from blocking many of the clearways, hence the bracken and bramble overgrowth across them, so a more circuitous / meandering route will likely be required than has previously been necessary.
I would recommend long trousers to reach this cache, even in the summer months, as even I struggled to reach the cache when I last visited and I know these woods reasonably well having walked in them on and off for the last few years.
Goods Luck and finally, please make sure you put the cache back exactly where you found it, thank you.
